Kai has been a name that has caught our attention for years and we wanted to put it on some garment. Our previous pant was called Kali and we believe that Kai is an improved extension of Kali. In Hawaiian it means ocean, but researching we have found more meanings.
The one that has surprised us the most is the Kai Kai of the Rapa Nui culture, an ancient tradition that tries to shape different figures with threads with the idea of ​​illustrating a story. And since we work with threads to tell stories, ours, in the form of clothing, we thought the name is perfect!
